The possibilities of the hillside plot of Casa WelliKulho (attraction 18 of the expo) are exploited to support the sporty activities of the family. The heart of the yard is the pool area and the poolhouse in the lower part of the hillside. Whether the water of Saimaa is warm or not, in this family swimming is much enjoyed. The view over Saimaa can be admired from the very own terrace till the twilight sets in.
When darkness sets in the lighting is used to highlight the architecture of the house. White N‰sby- luminaires were installed to the corners of the house to illuminate the walls. N‰sby illuminates the environment in a controlled way, but does not dazzle. The fun thing about N‰sby is that the cone of lights can be moulded by ourselves- the luminaire has an adjustable cone of light with the width of 0∫- 80∫ both up- and downwards.
In summertime the living room is brought outside! Table-and floor luminaires of the Garda-series are designed for outdoor use on patios, terraces and balconies.
With well planned illumination, moving around in the yard can be made easier and safety created. The wall build in the hillside plot has low profile Lid Mini- wall luminaires submerged into it, and the stairs have Holm Eye- ground lights. Indirect illumination does not dazzle, but makes moving around in the dark easier and helps to perceive the space. Slender Sund-wall luminaires were picked for the balcony and the walls of the pool house to highlight the vertical surfaces.
The Slim-downlights installed to the terrace ceiling in the upper part of the yard are especially well suitable beneath eaves and for a terrace roof. Slim IP65 is a submersible luminaire of solid led equipped with AC-leds, that does not need any additional plugging devices.
Warehouse facilities need especially efficient and accordingly humidity-labelled illumination. The even and effective Faro-led luminaire in the shed and carport is instantly lid up. Thanks to a good illumination one can work effectively in the shed in the dark evenings too.Illuminations design: Erja Taipale, Tilasi Oy
