General lighting in kitchen

Unobtrusive surface and recessed downlights are a stylish solution. Pay attention to the location of the lights: they must not restrict the location of furniture.

When you choose dimmable downlights as general ceiling lighting, the atmosphere of the kitchen can be quickly changed from bright to pleasant.

If you are renovating an old house, we recommend that you choose powerful, dimmable LED downlights for the ceiling. You can also choose bright and economical LED bulbs to replace the halogen spotlights of the old luminaires. Pay attention, however, to the dimmability of the bulbs, their lumen values, colour temperature and opening angle.

Instead of recessed lighting, you can choose an LED light strip above the cupboards, which will produce even indirect light off the walls and ceiling. If there are no upper cupboards, install downlights on the ceiling above the work surfaces and in front of the appliances and cupboards.
