A Finnish family business

Airam is a Finnish company that is proud of its heritage. We employ approximately 80 people in Finland and about 10 in Sweden, working in various positions in sales, product management, quality, logistics and production.

At the end of 2021, we strengthened our Finnish production by purchasing the production facilities and machinery of the bankrupted Sähkö-Lahti in Lahti and hiring some of the company’s old employees.

Tervetuloa meille Airam

» We held an open event at the Lahti factory on the 4th of October 2023 as part of the “Tervetuloa meille” (= “Welcome to visit us”) theme week of the Association for Finnish Work. .

Airam is a member of the Association for Finnish Work. Some luminary manufactured in Lahti bear the Key Flag Symbol to indicate that the product is made in Finland. Our SaunaLed  luminaries carry the Design from Finland label to indicate the Finnish design of the products.

Airam’s logistics centre and head office are located in Kerava. We work with local associations and the municipality of Kerava on projects and events that are in line with our values.

Sponsorship and charity

Airam’s sponsorship and charity principles are based on our values and mission. We focus our support on our long-standing partners, the Cancer Foundation Finland’s Pink Ribbon campaign and MIELI Mental Health Finland. We also support good causes in the form of product donations to specific purposes.
