Pinea is a universal luminaire made from renewable and recycled raw materials. Thanks to the responsible materials and top-notch energy efficiency, the product's carbon footprint is smaller than that of a traditional equivalent luminaire. The housing is made of wood composite manufactured in Finland, which consists of cellulose fibers and biopolymer made from renewable materials. The raw materials are obtained from the side streams and residues of wood and pulp processing. The luminaire is highly energy-efficient, with 145 lm/W, and it is equipped with power switching. The housing and cover of Pinea, designed in Kerava, are pressed in Finland, and the product is manufactured at Airam's factory in Lahti.
