Pinea - Light with Minimal Use of Fossil-Based Raw Materials

Pinea is a general-purpose luminaire made from renewable and recycled materials. Thanks to the responsible materials and top-notch energy efficiency, the product's carbon footprint is smaller than that of a traditional equivalent luminaire.

Finnish production

Pinea’s body is made in Finland from a wood composite consisting of cellulose fiber and a biopolymer derived from renewable materials. The raw materials are sourced from by-products and residues of wood and pulp processing. Designed in Kerava, the body and shade of Pinea are molded in Finland, and the product is manufactured at Airam’s factory in Lahti. Pinea has been awarded the Key Flag Symbol.

Pinea is a Sustainable Choice

In addition to materials, Pinea’s design emphasizes energy efficiency. The luminaire is highly energy-efficient at 145 lm/W and features adjustable power output. It has a long lifetime of L80 100,000 hours and includes a light source in energy efficiency class A. All these features make Pinea a highly cost-effective and sustainable choice.
